  1. The Riddler brings out the detective side of Batman who solves the impossible riddles. That reminded me of the old TV show. Overall thought it was a fun twist on the Batman saga. Riddler was a demented, sick person who thought he was a hero. When he floods the city at the end I thought that was inconsistent with his mission of exposing corruption. Seemed like a set up to bring out the savior side of Batman.

  2. For me the best part of this movie was Paul Dano! Such a powerful and scary performance! He’s a serial killer and looks like a completely harmless normal person. Which is unfortunately how most serial killers look. His performance was just so real!!! Amazing!

  3. this movie was a 9/10 would of been a 10/10 if it ended after batmans speech when hes watching the little girl get lifted up in the helicopter basket , that was powerful , instead u got 13 mins of not needed story after .

  4. I'd love to see Joker not as the main villain in the Batman 2 but more like a villain that always lurks in the background, not always present but is a mastermind, kinda like Moriarty to Holmes. They should choose another villain to be the main one.

  5. I just dislike all the work bs in this movie she literally said “these WHITE privileged aswhole” like wtf how did that fly. The mass shooting trying to portray social media and mass shooting imo.

  6. The film was good very long which wasn't necessary due to the content which was shown, it must of been the Slow, zero stealth heavy walking of an 80 tonne batman wearing new rocks (not suitable for fighting or running in) also if he carries that batsuit around in that little bag I'm afraid he would need a hold all bag for that which is too obvious and not practical. Also what happens if the police stop and search how does he explain the emo make up whilst carrying his batsuit? The 2nd club scene makes Pattinson look quite fat so it looked like he only wore half of the suit maybe. Wow I'm filled with too many questions the more I watch this film. Squirrel suit was funny, he would fly like a brick dropped of a building with all that weight anyway. The car was my favourite as I love dodge chargers anyway despite the inability for the car to turn corners and be a death trap in a high speed chase in the rain. The penguin car chase wasn't necessary either as he could of smashed him up there and then but he chose to show off and get most of the civilians killed on the motorway for basically no reason. Also he doesn't care about his Wayne business when he should as Bruce waynes only super power is having all the money basically. Didn't like Gordon his script was dull as it felt like he was narrating all the way through plus he's extremely simple and terrible at his job. This batman reminded me of batman returns (Danny devito) fragments of Nolan's batman begins and a smidgin of the Gotham TV series which was awesome apart from the last rushed episode.
They need a better script next time dump cat woman and joker, make the riddler the riddler and not a hobo wearing a trash bag, introduce death stroke, court of owls, Mr freeze. What's actually better is if they make a dark Knight TV series about batman which could carry on after the Gotham TV series and doesn't have to be the same design. They can keep the noir and batman obviously doing his csi stuff but he needs to be able to fight as it looked more like bum fights in The batman.

  7. Loved the villains, loved the theme, loved the city but really hated Batman. The actor was great, his dialogue and acting.
But how Batman fought was awful. It looks like a hobo throwing punches. The Nolan Batman explained to you how Batman used the shadows and fear to his advantage better. Well he did train with league of shadows and that's the kind of training that allows you to fight group of well trained enemies and super powered beings to an extent.

Here in this movie, I never felt that Batman can take on someone like death stroke. Loved his detective work, not his style or aggression.

Year 2 or not, Nolan showed us in 1st year how a well trained Batman can fight.

  8. I just finished watching this movie. I think the movie was decent. Wasn’t the best Batman, but I get why some people liked it. Like there was something true to comic book Batman. But a lot of you clowns are overhyping it. I get it. You guys want something great for your generation. But too realistic doesn’t make it better. Christopher Nolan’s Dark Knight series will be number one for a long time. It’s hard to top those. Not only was the acting great, but the story telling was great as well. It was perfect.

  9. Need more Selina.😻 Yeah there was definitely a less hidden in the shadows element to Rob's Batman. But in the sequel, I hope to see a really interesting take on his Bruce Wayne.

  10. I have a friend who is extremely opinionated and sometimes has kind of ridiculous takes on things. I showed him Joker and to my dismay, at the end he totally agreed with the media's fear-mongering about it causing riots or shootings (bearing in mind this was well after the film had left cinemas and nothing had happened like that) and he also accused it of being a rip off of Heath Ledger's Joker. With all that in mind, I'm really reluctant to show him The Batman when I would normally be excited. Shame really as I think both films are really good and deserve recognition as new and fresh interpretations led by artistic directors, composers and actors.

  11. Well first off Im glad your still making vids on your opinion. Second not to bad. Third its about time you give a review of an actually good movie. Fourth well done for doing your own thing and breaking away from the shill bullshit buddy. If you stay true to that than you continue to grab my interest in your reviews on movies.

  12. Someone said that Dr.strange has burnt "THE BATMAN" that marveltard deserve good counciling, seriously i don't understand these marvel fans they always keep the same taste,i just want to tell them that only action,CGI and good collections doesn't make a film good, there should be strong story telling, detailing,it should grounded, realistic, gripping screenplay, direction and most importantly emotions, these all things are there in "The Batman" film,so please don't taste the same food daily, try different things so that you will understand what is film making, and The Batman has collected 740+m US dollars even though it is a stand alone film, and it was released immediately after 3rd wave,i will write and give when "The Batman 2" comes it will be the most iconic film that world has ever seen.Joker,Riddler, Penguin….still there may be interesting characters in it along with that this team just imagine the output.

  13. Paul Dano was great, even though I wish he had the top hat and pin-striped suit, they made him out to be that horror dude The Collector. It was pleasant to see him as a villain he goes 110% and can either be terrifying or dramatic.

  14. Selina losing to Falcone in her fight was the only part that kinda bugged me. Like what was that lol just have Batman step in after she kicks his ass and is about to kill him kinda like they already did. Cut that saving shit

  15. I liked it. It is a movie for me to watch several times. In not sure about the lead yet. but i did like seeing a slightly clumsy Batman who did not have that same superhero bravado. The Best thing about entire film is we did not have to watch the planet being saved again. Local villains rule. All that said, Christian Bale will always be my Batman.
