  1. Best damn Joker at the time. This one was more a natural Joker since he laughs a lot and makes jokes; as a Joker should alike Jack Nicholson's Joker.

Also that blonde would've played well as Harley Quinn if they knew the idea at the time.

  2. It's kinda amazing what Romero had to work with, back then Joker was just another rogue and not the criminal arch nemesis foil to Batman he is now

  3. I'd say the most poignant thing about Cesar Romero is that he managed to make the Joker recognizable… in a Batman itteration where everyone is a clown. Seriously, you have to try extra hard against a guy that carries a "bat shark reppelant"

  4. Actually the first on screen joker was J Carroll naish in the 1943 batman serial. Yeah I know he was a Japanese spy on the serial, but that's because changes were made to coincide with the war at the time. It was supposed to be the joker in 1943. The fun house hide away, makeup, if you watch it you can see he was ment to be the joker.

  5. One thing that bothers me is that given how often people used a poison gas or sneezing powder, I would have thought he would keep nostril protectors at all times on them.

  6. 0:11 how is this dude caused any harm he’s adorable. He’s like John and Lego joker. They’re just adorable. He belongs with them and we’re gonna call them the adorable jokers. OK because they are freaking adorable.

  7. His Joker is just great. When you hear Cesar Romero out of character and then see him portray Joker it's just incredible. He definitely laid down the blueprint for how the character was portrayed later.
