Is it possible to insert the launcher without battery? Do I need to retract before it can even be inserted because I just got this and I can't seem to insert the launcher at all, it's facing resistance. But I also don't have the batteries.

I took a mold of the Batarang stand and made it to fit the grapnel gun for its own stand using resin. It doesn't 'shoot off the room' it only shoots about a foot.
Has the NECA Batman 1989 Line Launcher shown at Toy Fair been canceled?

Just bought it off eBay recently, only 30 bucks. I originally had a metal prop replica for like 600 bucks years ago, but this is great for cosplay and just a cool item all around. I'm surprised how powerful it shoots out! It's just a neat item overall and it's nice to finally have like a decent looking prop replica that's affordable. The gold tip is awesome. The batarang I'll be passing on because it doesn't flip open like in the movie. Which is disappointing. Any news on the line launcher? Or was that canceled?

I absolutely cannot get the battery compartment open. Ridiculous.
Saw the Animated Series version which is great, but more interested in live-action props. Just bought one off eBay. Not really upset about a lack of a stand but more surprised it isn't 100 percent screen accurate with your silver cover comment. Will have to take a closer look next time. Maybe I'll paint it; we shall see.

Bro you need to get a 3d printer and start implementing your ideas! Then you can sell them on this channel and make even more money. I’ve been blessed with being able to see business and entrepreneurial ideas for people. Bud, get the 3d printer. I know you have plethora of ideas that will complement these awesome relic replicas.
