The Batman Evaluate

The Batman hits theaters on March 4, 2022. Spoiler-free assessment by Alex Stedman.

The Batman is a gripping, beautiful, and, at occasions, a genuinely scary psychological crime thriller that provides Bruce Wayne the grounded detective story he deserves. Robert Pattinson is nice as a really damaged Batman, but it surely’s Zoe Kravitz and Paul Dano who steal the present, with a movingly layered Selina Kyle/Catwoman and a terrifyingly unhinged Riddler. Author/director Matt Reeves managed to make a Batman film that is fully completely different from the others within the live-action canon, but surprisingly loyal to Gotham lore as an entire. Finally, it is one which totally earns its place on this iconic character’s legacy.

  1. It’s not the best comic book movie by any means, and there’s a lot to improve it, by not playing the nirvana tune every 5 minutes, and by not making race-swapped Gordon say Jesus as a reaction in every scene.

  2. Robert Pattinson should play Morbius and Jared Leto should play janitor at a high school shooting movie 🎥🍿.
Ben Affleck should stay as Batman . he's tall , muscular & authoritatively scary . he's even taller than Henry Cavill.
