Hey guys! So at around 34:08 I originally played the "Martha" scene in full. But whoever owns Hans Zimmer's music decided that the faint score playing in that scene was grounds to block the video! So since the video has already been up Youtube only offered me to remove that chunk of the video which left a weird editing glitch between cuts. Can't do anything about it! But at least this way the video is monetized and actually viewable worldwide. I'll probably be making a video on this issue because as some of you know this happened on the last Worst Superhero Movies video too. Anyway thanks for watching bye byeee

I feel at home in these comments. Zack Snyder should never touch another DC project again. Justice League was the worst live action move I've ever seen and BvS is right behind it. I also put off watching them and watched for the first time 2 days ago.

I prob don't belong in this thread, so what better place to be? Well, we know DC sucks when compared to Marvel. Its a given. That said, both idiotic SSquad movies and the non-Snyder League are waaaaaaay worse movies that BVS. Their fight alone is a cooler thing to see onscreen than anything in the other movies. I give them some props for the WWoman movies, they were both "adequate" not great. I would even throw in 4 of the 5 pre-Holland SpiderMan movies as worse than this movie. Only the first McGuirre movie was superior. Having said all of that, yes, the whole Martha thing is a really lazy way of keeping Bat from the killing blow. I agree it was shit. The rest of the movie though isn't bad, it manages to be fun even though the final fight had the idiotic Nuke thing. That was another very big strike, but again, we are talking about movies that are just all full of holes. I suppose the best sum up would be………You didn't like this movie for good reasons, but pretending its anywhere as bad as the other steaming piles is over the top. I mean a 5 year old could have written the 1st SSquad, nothing else is nearly as laughably dumb as that movie. My other theory is that Will Smith wrote the first one, because thats his caliber of talent these days.

While I personally liked the extended cut of the movie, you made some really good points as to why you don't like it. I can respectfully disagree with you and still enjoy your content.
Now I will say I think you misunderstood some things with the movie, such as Batman sending ppl to die in prison. For one that was set up by Lex to get Superman to hate Batman/Bruce. It's heavily implied, in fact Lex pretty much says that he knew who both Superman and Batman were and was setting this up for 2 years, which is why he was able to even pull all this off.
Another thing is YOU yourself admitted that you don't mind changes if it fits the context of the story. Literally that's what's happening to Batman, this is a Batman who lost Robin, so he was pretty much done with Justice, and then he sees this crazy Alien killing innocent people, he's not thinking rationally and Alfred even calls him out on it. Notice in the ending he DOESN'T brand Luthor, showing that he's slowly changing for the better.
In regards to Superman saying Martha, we gotta remember that in Superman's mind he's about to die!!!! Who in their right mind is thinking rationally when their about to die!! He just said whatever came to his mind!!
I'll admit the 1st hour is pretty boring but the minute Superman and Batman actually meet for the first time, the Mkvie picks up!! But still an 1 hr of boredom is unacceptable so saying the movie is boring is a fair point.
