I was born in the late 90’s, so this movie was already on T.V as a rerun by the time I was a kid. I actually enjoyed the movie. Sometimes you have to wonder with the cinematic advancements, how would this movie look today? I can’t wait for Batman 2022.

Tim Burton's vision was right on point, the fans ruined the possibility of a trilogy. That's why some movie companies shouldn't crumble and retreat from there goals…. because of a portion of fans that aren't pleased.
If you want to see real disinterest, watch a bruce willis film after oceans 12, TLJones tried atleast

One thing everyone loves about the nolanverse is how it goes from campy to dark, this movie did that on steroids.. It is a much better film in its complete form tho

It took a long time to come full circle just to enjoy this movie for what it is. Everything about this movie is huge. Everything is exaggerated, fantastical and larger than life. Yes, it's a toy commercial, but it's all about the over the top presentation and that's done extremely well. Thank you for this.

Bruce went through hell after the events that lead into Batman Forever…poor guy😰. He couldn’t catch a break. In the first film, It’s bad enough that he found out Joker killed his parents and he ended up going insane and killing the Joker himself, but then he dealt with The Penguin’s madness and killed him, leading to the nasty breakup between him and Catwoman, cause all they did was fight with each other, since both were damaged individuals. Chase meridian however came and healed him. And his love for Dick as Robin, redeemed him. When You look at this campy film from MY perspective the way I looked at it, you’ll realize it’s not as bad as it was made out to be. I think Schumacher was genuinely trying to tell a very deep story about Batman’s road to redemption, but the studio insisted making the movie as corny as possible. It’s not all Schumacher’s fault, people! He tried to please the fans with a good story arc, but wasn’t allowed to.

I love this film. There is a fan cut with the deleted scenes added in and some of the scenes reordered/crap cut out, it’s good I still have a copy of it, just a shame it isn’t in HD but it’s well worth a watch.
