  3. Snyder Cut is a exclusively marketing tool for HBO max. No one in WB has given a single thought in the direction of promoting The Batman. On a contrary, seeing Affleck again as Bats can only hurt Rob Pattinson before the movie comes out. I agree with John 100%. JL will be released either looong before The Batman, or after it. My money is for option #2. I don't think Snyder will finish it in time for it to breathe on HBO Max long enough before The Batman arrives.

  13. I'm not a fan of these hashtag movements. Sometimes they are warranted and sometimes they are not and in Solo's case, it's not. Solo is one of my favorite Star War movies. Saying it didn't do well at the box office would be an understatement. If people weren't on board than I don't see it happening now even if Disney turns Solo into a series. Star Wars in general just needs a break outside of The Mandalorian and we have the Obi series coming at some point. Just best to let the original Solo movie to stand on its own.

  14. I've gotten over Ben Affleck not being Batman anymore, but I think after watching Snyder's Cut of JL, those feelings could change lol. I trust Matt Reeves will make an incredible Batman series and I've liked everything I've seen and heard so far about The Batman movie.

  17. I don't get why people have any animosity towards wether or not Snider cut comes out. I loved the Snider cut of bvs over the theatrical. Saddens me that we are no longer seeing Snider's vision, it was different and unique.

  19. HBO Max—— I love what RMB said about the possibility of having a Batfleck solo movie on HBO Max. Yes, that would depend on the numbers (💰) the Snyder’s Cut is gonna make. Who knows? Maybe we could get the Batman movie Affleck was going to write and direct!

  21. DCU: The problem with DC in my opinion and where they screwed up with Batman Vs Superman was not giving Ben Affleck directed Batman own film FIRST. Then lead into Batman Vs Superman so the audience is already introduced to Batman and you're aren't cutting time in that film trying to do a half assed introduction. That's basic narrative story telling 101. After Batman V Superman you go Zack Snder Justice League and possibly a Ben Affleck directed Justice League 2 as like an even darker sequel. Snyder has Superman and Ben Affleck has Batman. Both get a Justice League film and both title characters get their introductions. WB/DC could have easily done this and it all would have been completed by now had they not tried to jump the gun and compete with Marvel's box office success without putting in the correct amount of leg work.

  30. For whatever reason I'm not too enthused about Mangold taking over Indy, partly by default, I think anyone doing Indy that's not Spielberg is going to feel like a step down. Mangold is great, but I'm not sure he fits Indy,. Indy is the ultimate adventure ride and I want someone to deliver that perfect adventure feel the original trilogy did. Logan comes close, but otherwise, I haven't really felt a real sense of adventure in his films. Not that he can't bring it, I guess we'll see soon enough.

  35. Where was all of this solo fanfare when the movie actually came out? I can recall vividly all of the negativity surrounding it from the fans when it released
