  1. @PolisAruba the definition of superheroes is supernatural heroes. Pheonix jones does fall under the catagory of superior citizen heroism. By all definition he is a superhero. They even call batman a super hero and he does not have powers.

  2. Why is phoenix the "hero" .. by the look of it he travels with about 5 other UN-MASKED people… and he is the hero.. the only one there with bear mace and fucking body armor lmao. what a joke.

  3. were they fighting? it doesn't look like they were. There was cheering. they could have been dancing. And the reason why that girl was hitting him with a shoe is because he pepper sprayed her.

  4. In a perfect world, phoenix would've done the frankensteiner on that crazy bitch who was hitting him with her heels then stomp her on her face. Ok for assault when woman's hitting a man and not the other way around.

  5. Man at the rate America is going, we need superheros out there, we have enough criminals and little to no good cops. Racism is alive and well and cops are the core of the problem as well.

  6. Except none of the IRL superheroes out there, including Phoenix Jones, are deluded enough to think that what they do isn't dangerous; they openly admit that it is and say that they take the risk to make their cities a better place.

If you really respected what they are doing, you wouldn't be patronizing and undermining IRL superheroes' actions by promoting the mentality that necessitated their presence in the first place. Grow a pair.

  7. they are hard at work trying to convince people in government to expand the police force, young people to stop joining gangs and join the police force, trying to convince people to stop drinking too much or using drugs te prevent these types of incidents in the first place, etc, etc to be able to get faster to emergencies when they happen….;)

  8. Your answer is really disrespectfull. you wouldn't be albe to shut me up if you had the chance:) second,I respect what these guys are doing and care enough about them to have made the suggestion I made cause their hearts are in the right place. That's why a dose of reality could keep them from becoming another "statistic". Even cops die regularly trying to help people. Last, but not least….they are not SUPER heroes cause they don't have superpowers, dumb dumb…they are masked vigilantes.

  9. Dude, shut up. Phoenix Jones and the other IRL superheroes who do this shit deliberately take those risks because they want to make things better. Life is full of those risks and unless more people learn to be resilient and to accept those risks, things will continue to be shitty. The state isn't going to protect anyone or anything. Wake up, man.

  10. Washington is a 'Shall issue' state for concealed carry. Packing heat sounds like a good idea if you have a nutter running around the city in a costume and attacking people with pepper spray and who knows what else.

    Lead beats lunatic every time.

  11. he's not a superhero….he's a masked vigilante….as much as I admire his intentions…he's going to get hurt….this is not a cartoon world…it's real….he should join a real agency a fight crime the conventional way….at least he'll have backup, a legal weapon and legal protection…also get paid for it…
