Ronda Rousey shuts down feminist reporter on female superhero objectification

Every time she is asked a “poor women” question (and it is happening more and more) Ronda gives a well-thought out answer that effectively ends the line of questioning. Ronda Rousey will never be a victim, and no matter how much feminism would love to claim her as an icon, it’s not going to happen.

It’s a feminism conundrum.

  1. Omg i love her. All the feminist think she'd be on their side but once they ask the question her answer is always something that makes logical sense, opposite to what feminists think.

  2. ??
    She just answered the question…
She just voiced her opinion intelligently on a subject, which could have been a different opinion. That's all.
This video title, much like most video titles on high-debate social issues, is fucking dumb.

  3. Why is she always asked these types of questions, because she's a woman? She's not a hardline feminist worrying about gender quotas and safe spaces, she's a warrior knocking the shit out of (nearly) anyone/thing Dana will let in the ring with her.

  4. Have I missed the outrage over male characters being ridiculous machos with stereotypical attitudes, which don't reflect the male population at all?
The average guy in the West has small man boobs and a round belly. Does that also apply to the average man in popular media? Where is the concern for the body image of young boys?

There is none, because this is about control over females' bodies. Sex negative feminism is a rebranding of puritanism.

  5. Thanks Ronda, you rock. Done! Shes more likely saying "That is a moot, bullshit issue, please this is about MMA and what its all about. Stick to those questions"

  6. Ronda doesn't seem like the sharpest tool in the shed but she doesn't let weak people tell her what to think and isn't afraid to say what she thinks, this makes her immune to feminism.

  7. Why would these feminists think they are too smart? for a woman who dominates, furthermore popularized a sport that otherwise could've had male-only fandom for the most part. they dont get someone could achieve that much if not for the supportive males in that business?

  8. I don't understand the title of your video. She simply stated what most feminists in the world believe to be true. That male athletes/superhero's are hypermasculinized while female athletes/ superhero's are hyperfeminized. Feminism is against the media's hyperfeminization of women and the hypermasculinization of men.

  9. Oh, goodness. I love her dearly for this. It's as though many women think that all men look like fucking Thor and Hugh Jackman. Flattering and strange.

Makes me really think women are not great at observing human ideals in art and weighing them against reality.

  10. Omg look at that a women who did not bitch and moan about shit and the evil men trying to hold her back she literally kicked her ass to the top. In UFC a place that is considered man man sport. Recently i think there was 2 women that passed americans ranger school. Not some bullshit watered down womens trials they did the same shit the men did. These bitches need to stop making it a gender thing and do it like these women did grow some ovaries and do it.

  11. It wasn't really a shut down, just a logical answer to a fair question. I have often wondered myself why they keep trying to sexualize this brute of a woman. I mean let's face it, if she worked in the make up section of Mark's and Spark's surrounded by other females, nobody would consider her to be sexy at all.

  12. Ronda is amazing for HUMANISM, I think feminism is just a projection of 'victim' identity in the guise of 'equality for all.' But being a man in society has it's perks as does being a women.. so not EVERYTHING should be equal, and feminism seems to want to just 'cherry pick' the best from the male… i dunno, we're equal but different haha i didn't want to write an essay here
