From the second Batman begins the engine of the Batmobile to when he emerges from the flames of the wreckage, it is clear that this scene completely symbolizes everything of Batman as a superhero. He’s virtually inhuman in his relentlessness. Penguin shortly realizes this after pondering he is outsmarted the Darkish Knight. What actually sells this sequence is how each factor of the filmmaking course of comes collectively: the appearing, the rating, the cinematography, and the sound design. All of them work collectively to precise Batman’s immense energy and unexplainable pressure.

I'm an aircraft mechanic and I restore classic cars as a hobby. That turbine spooling up and the V8 revving combo is the coolest sound ever.
1:00 thought the batmobile stalled the first time I watched the movie lol
My favorite scene of the whole movie. so so epic.
I even love the little detail that he stalls the car which shows that he’s still new to just about everything. Even then still one of the coolest startups I’ve ever seen. Gives me chills
God damn I fucking love Batman lol I’ve loved this character my whole life – ever since the animated series. And if they keep making incredible movies like this, I’ll never get over how cool he is.
the clank sound in the music. i like that.
That was not “one” of the best introductions to the Batmobile. That was THE BEST introductions to the Batmobile.
This was the P E R F E C T way to introduce the Batmobile: through the criminals eyes!
It’s almost depicted like a woken beast that’s eagerly waiting to chase it’s helpless prey. I’ve never experienced this kind of hype and exhilaration while watching a movie at the Theater before… I was unironically at the edge of my seat! God this movie was so good! I can’t wait for The Batman: Part II!
The engine revving is so bad ass. Probably my favorite Batmobile.
Now THAT is what you call a show stopper.
my new favorite batmobile other than michaels.
This was the coolest thing I've ever seen in a theater hands down lol
When i saw this in cinemas, i was for the first and only time, fixated on the screen and startled by the scream over the surround sound speakers….
Afraid of a car
0:59 the small false start he has there. is it because the car is new to him or is it him giving the Penguin a head start and wanted the chase?
this batmobile is a 1970 plymouth barracuda vs 1969 dodge charger?
The Batmobile honestly felt like an untamed Tiger ready to kill….had my entire theatre shaking…I loved it
I could have just watched that car growling for 3 hours in the theatre.
You could have the best home sound system you could buy and it’ll never replicate the earth shattering experience we had at a cinema.
The tumbler beats all batmobiles ever existed.
Like if you agree with this statement.
Is it bad that the only reason I went to see this movie was to see the car?
Im just wondering how batman put a piece of hell under his bonnet
God this version of the batmobile sounds and looks just as pissed off and brutal as batman himself
A better car chase scene than Fast and furious
Anyone else get bothered by the random headfake 1:00 ….once the car moved it should have just taken off
Best batman scene ever !
I saw Pattinson what he as capeable of in the lighthouse and I knew with he pulled off the best Batman
I saw this twice in theaters. The first time was in IMAX. It was so loud during the revvup that I could feel my bones rattle!
This is in the legit top 5 car chase scenes imho, alongside Bullitt, OG Blues Brothers, Matrix Reloaded, and the French Connection
Excellent knowledge of the character: Selina sees a prime opportunity to snatch the money & GTFO, and does just that.
I swear, the sound of that V8 revving/jet engine spooling up has the same level of "eargasm" energy as the Seismic charge, just fucking beautiful.
The Batmobile sounds like an F-18 on a aircraft carrier that’s ready to launch
Watched this in imax. I was screaming
