From Warner Bros. Photos comes Matt Reeves’ “The Batman,” starring Robert Pattinson within the twin function of Gotham Metropolis’s vigilante detective and his alter ego, reclusive billionaire Bruce Wayne. Starring alongside Pattinson (“Tenet,” “The Lighthouse”) as Gotham’s well-known and notorious solid of characters are Zoë Kravitz (“Massive Little Lies,” “Unbelievable Beasts: The Crimes of Grindelwald”) as Selina Kyle; Paul Dano (“Love & Mercy,” “12 Years a Slave”) as Edward Nashton; Jeffrey Wright (“No Time to Die,” “Westworld”) because the GCPD’s James Gordon; John Turturro (the “Transformers” movies, “The Plot Towards America”) as Carmine Falcone; Peter Sarsgaard (“The Magnificent Seven,” “Interrogation”) as Gotham D.A. Gil Colson; Jayme Lawson (“Farewell Amor”) as mayoral candidate Bella Reál; with Andy Serkis (the “Planet of the Apes” movies, “Black Panther”) as Alfred; and Colin Farrell (“The Gents,” “Unbelievable Beasts and The place to Discover Them”) as Oswald Cobblepot.

Reeves (“The Planet of the Apes” franchise) directed from a screenplay by Reeves & Peter Craig, primarily based on characters from DC. Batman was created by Bob Kane with Invoice Finger. Dylan Clark (the “Planet of the Apes” movies) and Reeves produced the movie, with Michael E. Uslan, Walter Hamada, Chantal Nong Vo and Simon Emanuel serving as govt producers. The director’s behind-the-scenes artistic workforce included Oscar-nominated director of images Greig Fraser (“Dune,” “Lion”); Reeves’ “Planet of the Apes” manufacturing designer, James Chinlund, and editor, William Hoy; editor Tyler Nelson (“Rememory”); and Oscar-winning costume designer Jacqueline Durran (“1917,” “Little Ladies,” “Anna Karenina”). The music is by Oscar-winning composer Michael Giacchino (the present “Spider-Man,” “Jurassic World” and “Star Wars” movies, “Up”). Warner Bros. Photos Presents a sixth & Idaho/Dylan Clark Productions Manufacturing, a Matt Reeves Movie, “The Batman.”

The movie is about to open in UK cinemas March 4, 2022 and will probably be distributed worldwide by Warner Bros. Photos.

  3. Dear WB don't make DC a comedy please !!! As much as Marvel is hilarious …ITS ALSO HIGHLY UNREALISTIC .. so DC please keep it grounded TO THE GROUND .. fans are getting old and we want something that will also relate to us .

  17. Guys don't go reading too much into it: Batman's use of "vengeance" is just a fear tactic, he's not in this for anger, he's in this for saving people. He just saves people in a much more dark way than the super-powered justice League members do (not sure if they exist in this fictional universe though).
