I think it might be Sam Benjamin since Zack likes to stick with unknown people. Why would Ryan Reynolds be Green Lantern? I thought he hated the role. I think Reeves' Batman hype got nuke with Zack Snyder's Justice League. Might as well cancel Reeves' Batman since the point of that movie was WB pushed Ben Affleck out for Matt Reeves. Also Robert Pattinson is refusing to work for the role. So yeah…

24. The Air Force Officer Carrie Ferris from Man of Steel (and BvS) is a different character from Carol Ferris of Green Lantern. One is an Air Force Officer and one runs the day to day operations of her father's aircraft company. Because the names are similar and the character in MoS/BvS is in the Air Force, fans just jumped to the conclusion she was the DCEU version of Carol Ferris even though she never provided any additional easter eggs to led us to think that.
    Carrie Ferris never said she was from Coast City or even California and never said anything about her father being
    a supplier of military aircraft to the Air Force. She doesn't even have a pilot's badge on her uniform (she has a parachutist badge) while Carol Ferris was an Air Force pilot before leaving to join her father's company as
    a test pilot and management.
    Its could also be possible her character is related to Carol Ferris as a younger sister who continued her military career
    when her older sister left the Air Force to be groomed by their father to one day run Ferris Aircraft.
    When you say Dr.Hammond is different, I think you are mistaking characters. As far as I know, Dr. (Hector) Hammond
    has only appeared in Green Lantern and not in any DCEU film. The Chief Scientist in MoS was Emil Hamilton
    a different character from STAR LABS and Superman comics and animation. Hector Hammond is a long time
    Green Lantern character who gains vast telepathic/telekinetic abilities.
    Amanda Waller was played by a different actress then she was in Suicide Squad, but that should not have to mean
    she can't be the same character. Nobody really knows how many government hats she wears and in a comic book movie why is it so hard to imagine she is running ARGUS and Task Force X while also working in the DEO as the character was in Green Lantern?
    If you adjust the timeline forward for the Green Lantern movie so it doesn't happen in its release year of 2011,
    everything makes sense. Besides in real life, the F-35 fighter Hal and Carol flew against the drones (in 2011) didn't reach operational service until the summer of 2016. Move Green Lantern to the summer of 2016 and things make sense.
    1. Superman would have died in the spring of 2015 (Movie started 18 months after end of Man of Steel
    in June 2013) and not been able to fly to Coast City during the Parallax attack.
    2. Wonder Woman had gone back to Paris after BvS and could not have gotten to Coast City before Green Lantern
    showed up and lured Parallax into space. Besides Arthur Curry and Barry Allen would not have their identities
    revealed to Bruce Wayne by Waller until after the events of the Suicide Squad film which happened in August 2016.
    There was no Justice League or even a roster of known heroes besides Wonder Woman for Batman to gather
    to go to Coast City and again, Diana was in Paris, and still using commercial flights to get to the United States.
    3. Superman's death seemed to be leading to more and more metahumans going public and Green Lantern's
    first appearance at Ferris aircraft would just be part of a trend that Batman would be gathering intel over.
    4. Waller was played by another actress in GL, but her zeal to get her hands on the body of Abin Sur could be
    looked at as being similar to how the character was hunting for metas and supercriminals for her Task Force X
    leading into Suicide Squad. Waller was obsessed with the idea that the next alien/otherworldly threat would be closer
    to General Zod then Superman and the Enchantress would prove that belief to be correct.
    She couldn't "disappear" Hammond the way she could a supervillain to Belle Reeve. She would need him to volunteer
    his services out of scientific curiosity and the best way to do that was to present herself as a fellow scientist out to
    solve a riddle with Abin Sur's body the only clue.

38. well if I have to bet would be on that ZSJL will be a one of thing (hope not ,hope will set back the original super awesome vision of Zack) but if it is then atleast I expect a Dark Knight Returns movie (or a bit different) with Ben on playing that fantastic character of Frank Miller in a final movie frame by frame as the comicbook that Zack is a Master of doing in movies (Watchmen-300)

40. There is a green lantern in the film but it's played by actor Sam Benjamin and I think he's Hal Jordan so I'm not sure what other Lantern Ryan Reynolds can play.

45. I doubt that Grail was in the original Snyder Cut, as she was created by Geoff Johns who would have therefore insisted (because ka-Ching) that she remain in the released cut.
    More likely “Darkseid’s family” would have been the original Jack Kirby Apokolypes characters like Kalibak, DeSaad, and Granny Goodness

46. Recasts don't matter! GL can still be canon. The MCU recast Bruce Banner/Hulk, War Machine and Zackary Levi's Thor character without batting an eye! The entire Incredible Hulk film is canon to the MCU.

49. All news are exciting besides the Snyder Cut but the one that is more exciting is the possibility that Ben Affleck would come back as Batman. That would pay the over hype we all had back then and then suddenly it was reduced to nothing, I felt robbed for that. The most accurate Batman, the best iteration up till now. F*ck Reeves, f*ck Pattinson
