The Bearskin Healthcare & Wellness Center was the site of the Superhero 5K as part of the Wyandotte Nation’s Methamphetamine & Suicide Prevention Initiative April 19. Athletes also put their strength to the test Saturday during the Bearskin Strongman competition. Men and women from the area pulled a fire truck, deadlifted a truck and flipped tires among other things during the day full of events. The event was organized to raise awareness about bullying. Pet food donations were also accepted for the Grand Lake Humane Society.
